To whom it may concern,
Thank you for taking the time to review my experience and story.
My wife Cary and I are currently based in Austin, Texas, and in this season we have been intentionally seeking the right church — not just a place to serve, but a place we can truly call home. A church where we can be planted, build, and contribute to something meaningful long-term.
I’ve spent the last 10+ years building and leading student, young adult, worship, and creative ministries in a variety of church environments. Throughout that time, I’ve had the opportunity to rebuild and grow ministries, develop strong volunteer teams, and help create environments that are both engaging and grounded in the Gospel. From relaunching student ministries and growing them into thriving communities, to launching young adult gatherings from the ground up, my heart has always been to reach those far from God while helping believers live transformed lives — not just saved, but set apart.
Cary also carries a strong calling to ministry and has spent years leading through project management, administration, and event execution. We have always approached ministry as something we do together — building teams, creating environments, and investing in people side by side.
We are drawn to churches that value both excellence and authenticity — environments that are intentional in how they reach people, but deeply dependent on the Holy Spirit. A church that is committed to reaching those who are far from God while also challenging believers to grow, mature, and live set apart. We care deeply about building healthy teams, creating engaging environments, and cultivating a culture where people don’t just attend, but belong, grow, and take ownership.
More than anything, we are looking for a place where we can plant roots, serve faithfully, and be part of what God is building — not just for a season, but for the long term.
I would love the opportunity to connect and explore how we could serve your team.
Sincerely,
Jude Wright -

I didn’t grow up in a stable or easy environment. I was born into a home marked by addiction and mental illness, and at a young age, my brother and I were placed into foster care before being adopted by my grandmother, who became a steady and faithful presence in our lives.
Over the years, I experienced significant loss — my mom passed away due to complications from her illness, and later my dad died from an overdose. Those moments shaped me deeply, even if I didn’t fully understand it at the time.
By high school, I was searching for identity and an outlet for everything I was carrying. I found that in music, creativity, and community — but it also led me into unhealthy environments and decisions that left me more lost than before. After a series of personal losses, including the deaths of close friends and a breaking point in my own life, I found myself at a place where I knew something had to change.
It was during that season that I was invited to a church event, where I encountered Jesus in a way that was real and undeniable. For the first time, I experienced hope, purpose, and a sense of identity that I had been searching for.
That moment marked a turning point in my life. I began to pursue a relationship with Jesus, which led me into ministry, where I discovered a passion for helping others find the same hope and transformation I experienced.
Since then, my life has been committed to building environments where people can encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and walk in purpose. Along the way, I met my wife Cary in ministry school, and we finally got married in 2022. Together, we share a deep calling to serve the local church and find those who are lost or wandering and lead people from salvation to transformation.

Scripture
I believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God and serves as the foundation for truth, identity, and how we live.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; Hebrews 4:12; Psalm 119:105)God (Trinity)
I believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)Jesus Christ
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and was raised to life, offering salvation to all who believe in Him.
(John 1:1,14; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4)Salvation
I believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works, and that through Him we are forgiven, made new, and brought into relationship with God.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10; 2 Corinthians 5:17)Holy Spirit
I believe in the ongoing work and presence of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers to live transformed lives, grow in spiritual maturity, and walk in the gifts He provides.
(Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–23; 1 Corinthians 12:4–7)The Church
I believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples, and reach those far from Him.
(Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:42–47; Ephesians 4:11–13)Ordinances
I believe in water baptism and communion as biblical practices for believers.
(Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)Eternity
I believe in the return of Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of God’s promises, including eternal life for those who follow Him.
(John 14:3; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 21:1–4)Biblical Living & Marriage
I believe Scripture is the ultimate authority for truth and defines how we live, including God’s design for identity, holiness, and marriage. I believe marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, and that we are all called to live lives set apart in obedience to God.
(Romans 12:1–2; 1 Peter 1:15–16; Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6)Pastoral Calling & Qualifications
I believe those who are called to pastoral leadership are held to the biblical standards outlined in Scripture, including living a life of integrity, humility, faithfulness, and spiritual maturity. Pastoral leadership is not simply a position, but a responsibility to shepherd, serve, and lead by example.
(1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:6–9; 1 Peter 5:2–3)At the same time, I believe these standards are not limited to pastors alone. Anyone who claims to follow Jesus and represent Him through sharing the Gospel is called to live a life that reflects His character. We are all called to pursue holiness, integrity, and obedience as we point others to Christ.
(Matthew 5:16; Colossians 3:17; James 1:22) -
Encounter & Transformation
I believe ministry is about creating environments where people can encounter Jesus in a real and life-changing way. Everything we do — from gatherings to conversations to content — should point people toward knowing Him, not just knowing about Him.I am passionate about building excellent, intentional environments that reach those who are lost, hurting, or wandering, while also challenging believers to live transformed lives. I believe the Church should not settle for simply seeing people saved, but should be committed to seeing people changed — formed in the image of Christ and living set apart in everyday life.
Grace, Truth & Spiritual Leadership
I believe strong ministry holds both grace and truth together. Grace is for everyone — not just those walking through the doors for the first time, but also for those leading and serving within the Church. As pastors and leaders, we are not called to perfection, but to humility, repentance, and continual dependence on God.I believe ministry should be both Spirit-led and intentionally structured. While strategy, creativity, and excellence matter, they should never replace dependence on the Holy Spirit. I value prayer as essential — not an afterthought — and believe that lasting impact comes not from our ideas alone, but from being led and empowered by God.
Teams, Culture & Execution
I believe strong ministry is built on strong teams. My approach is to recruit, develop, and empower leaders who take ownership of the mission. Healthy volunteer culture is not built through pressure, but through vision, trust, and consistent investment.I value excellence in how we present the Gospel. In today’s culture, creativity and communication matter. I believe in leveraging media, storytelling, and well-executed environments to remove distractions and help people engage fully with what God is doing.
Discipleship & Lasting Impact
I believe discipleship happens both in large gatherings and in smaller, relational environments. True life change is sustained through consistent relationships, accountability, and intentional leadership development.Ultimately, my goal in ministry is not just to build attendance, but to build people — helping them encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and live out their calling in everyday life.

Vision for Students & Young Adults
My vision is to build a student and young adult ministry that people want to invite their friends to — environments that are engaging, excellent, and clearly centered on the Gospel.
For students, I would focus on creating a consistent weekly environment that is high-energy, relational, and easy to invite into. This includes strong programming, engaging worship, and clear, practical communication that helps students understand who Jesus is and what it looks like to follow Him in their everyday lives.
Alongside the large gathering, I believe small groups are essential. Every student should have a place where they are known, challenged, and discipled through consistent relationships with leaders and peers.
For young adults, the focus shifts toward building a strong, consistent community that meets a real need for connection, identity, and purpose. I would prioritize creating a gathering that feels intentional, not random — where people can belong quickly, build relationships, and grow in their faith.
I would also focus on developing clear next steps for both students and young adults — from attending, to serving, to leading. Leadership development is not an afterthought, but a core part of the ministry. The goal is to raise up leaders who take ownership and influence others.
Creatively, I believe in building environments that feel relevant and engaging without compromising the message. Social media, content, and storytelling would be used intentionally to reach people outside the room and keep the ministry connected throughout the week.
Everything would be built with an outward focus — creating a culture where students and young adults are not just attending, but actively inviting and reaching their friends.
Ultimately, my goal is to build a ministry that is not just growing in numbers, but growing in depth — where people are encountering Jesus, being discipled, and stepping into their calling.

I am a relational and visionary leader who thrives in building people, developing teams, and creating environments that move with clarity and momentum. I naturally lead from the front — casting vision, creating energy, and helping others step into who they are called to be.
I am driven, decisive, and action-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the environments and people I lead. I care deeply about building healthy team culture and creating spaces where people feel both challenged and supported.
I am most effective in environments where I can help shape direction, develop leaders, and bring vision to life — not just through ideas, but through execution and team alignment.
